INDOOR & OUTDOOR FACILITIES

On site we have two swimming pools to cater for the whole family.  The larger pool is 11 x 7 m; for the babies and toddlers we have a 5 m diameter paddling pool.  Both pools have ample decking surrounding them, allowing you to relax in the sun on one of the many sun loungers. To entertain the more active members of the family we have a basketball wall, which is also perfect to practice your tennis against.  The adjacent open barns house two football tables, table tennis, pool table and a dartboard.  In this area there is also a sand pit for the budding sandcastle builders.  On the opposite side of the site is a play area with swings and a wine barrel now used as a climbing frame.

For those looking for more sedate activities we have a selection of board games and puzzles, together with a library of paperbacks which guests are welcome to use - we only ask that you do not exchange books with any Jeffrey Archers please!

Not quite on site but just over the road are the village football pitch and  petanque (French boules) pitches which our guests are welcome to use.

We have morning deliveries of fresh bread and croissants by the local Boulangerie.  During the week there are also deliveries from the butcher and fishmonger - their days change from season to season; we can give you more details during your stay.

OFF SITE FACILITIES

Within the village of Courant we have riding stables run by Florence - we can arrange bookings for you on a half or whole day basis for either the whole family or just the children to allow you more time to relax in the sun.

In the nearby village of Loulay there are 2 modern tennis courts - you will need to provide your own tennis rackets and balls. 

In St Jean d’Angely you can enjoy canoeing, go karting and an indoor pool complex.  The coastal route has several golf courses and the whole area is great cycling country.

The local Intermarche and LeClerc supermarkets are well stocked and St Jean d’Angely has a fresh food market every Wednesday and Saturday.  Finally there are many more local markets on various days - we have a full list available during your stay.

We have two swimming pools which are available for use by all residents. There is a large pool for adults/older children and a smaller pool for the toddlers. The area around the pool has been decked for your safety and comfort.
